Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated September 2026

ObligePay offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on every subscription plan. This policy explains how to cancel, how to request a refund, and how refunds are processed.

30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your ObligePay subscription, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the order date. You do not need to give a reason.

The guarantee applies to your initial purchase of a plan and to each renewal charge, measured from the date of that charge.

This policy is offered by ObligePay, the seller of the service. It is in addition to any statutory cancellation or consumer rights you have under the law of your country, which are not affected by this policy.

How to request a refund

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

To request a refund, visit paddle.net and look up your order using the email address you purchased with, or reply to the receipt email Paddle sent you at the time of purchase.

You can also email us at hello@obligepay.com with your order details and we will raise the refund request with Paddle on your behalf.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method by Paddle. Paddle typically completes this within a few business days, and your bank or card issuer may take a further few days to show the funds.

Refunds are issued in the currency of the original transaction. Any sales tax or VAT collected at checkout is refunded with it.

If a refund is issued for the current billing period, access to paid features ends when the refund is processed.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time from Plan and billing in your dashboard, which opens the billing portal, or by contacting us at hello@obligepay.com.

Cancelling stops all future renewal charges. Access to paid verification features ends when the cancellation takes effect, so cancel at the point you no longer need the service.

Cancelling on its own is not a refund request. If you also want the most recent charge refunded, ask for a refund within 30 days of that charge using the steps above.

Your data after cancellation

Your account, documents, audits and Reality Certificates remain in your workspace and can be exported or deleted on request.

Email hello@obligepay.com if you would like your organization's content deleted. We keep only the records we are required to retain for security, billing, tax or legal reasons.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Paddle will attempt to collect it again and will contact you to update your payment method. We may suspend access to paid features while a payment is outstanding.

If the payment still cannot be collected, the subscription is cancelled and no further charges are made.
