Terms of Service

Last updated April 2026

These terms govern your use of ObligePay. They are written to be readable, and they are deliberately clear about what our output is and is not.

The service

ObligePay analyses contracts, invoices and evidence you provide or authorise, and produces verification results and Reality Certificates.

The service is early-stage. Features may change, and evidence integrations described as architected are not available until explicitly enabled for your organization.

What a verification result is

A verification result is a calculation over the facts available at the time it was produced. It is informational output to support your own commercial decision.

It is not legal advice, an audit opinion, an accounting determination, or a guarantee about the enforceability of any contract clause.

Results based on simulated evidence are labelled as simulated and must not be used as the basis for withholding payment.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the documents and data you upload, and for having the right to provide them.

You remain solely responsible for every payment, dispute, deduction or communication you make with a counterparty.

You must keep credentials secure, use the service in compliance with applicable law, and not attempt to access another organization's data.

Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and are responsible for activity under your account.

We may suspend an account for security reasons, non-payment where fees apply, or breach of these terms.

Fees

Pilot engagements are provided at no charge for the agreed period. Paid plans are quoted in writing before they begin.

We do not charge a share of recovered amounts and we make no representation about savings or recovery outcomes.

Intellectual property

We own the service, including the verification engine, evidence architecture and certificate format. You own your content and the verification results produced for you.

You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the service.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost recoveries, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your data. We may terminate for material breach with notice where practicable.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated to account holders. Questions: hello@obligepay.com.
